Friday we left Newport around 11:00, stopped at In&Out Burger for lunch and then drove to San Diego. We stopped at the San Diego Temple for an hour and got nice photos of the girls. What a beautiful temple. This nice sister missionary showed photos of the inside. Beautiful!!!
We are staying at the Marriott Marina&Spa and it's so great! Our view is of the Marina and Coranado Island. Padre's stadium(they've had games the last 3 days) and the Gaslamp Quarter are across the street. Friday night we walked over to Seaport Village. We had such a fun time walking around and looking at all the boats in the marina. The girls and Jer rode the 150 yr. old Carosel and had a grand time. Jen and I get sick on those so we didn't ride. 
We then drove down to Belmont Park so the kids could go on a few rides. Kenz and Jer rode the Great Dipper Wooden rollercoaster. Madilynn rode the Crazy Submerine, and it was so funny watching her ride it. She had us cracking up. She was just so excited about riding on it. We stopped and got pizza before going to the hotel and the Padre's game was just getting out. We were stuck in downtown traffic forever!! Enjoyed our pizza finally at 11:15pm then called it a night!!

Jill- the SD temple is in La Jolla about 5 miles from where my dad lives and where I've spent my summers since I was in junior high.
The carosel in Seaport Village is also one of our favorite spots to take the kids when we're in town.
I'm going to call you. There are some other places you definitely need to visit.
It looks like you are having so much fun. I can only imagine how molly is taking all of this. You are a brave woman. Your new pic up top is beautiful.
