My blogging is slacking, and it makes me sad!!! Life has just been so busy, it's hard to find the time.
Jeremy has been to the Philippines, Ireland and now Costa Rica in the last 3.5 weeks! We had family come in for Mya's Blessing, and stay until yesterday! So much FUN!
...and Molly was such a sick little girl last week. Dr. thought she had Mono, but turns out she has a terrible case of Strep. Her liver and spleen were enlarged( I know, awful), and she had swollen lymph nodes in her armpits and groin. Her Dr. was very concerned. I wasn't sure what had been wrong with her. She started running a fever on Sept. 4th and was very sleepy. The fever would come and go. She would act normal with energy, then just collapse taking 4 to 5 hr. naps during the day. She was like that the entire blessing weekend. The night my parent's arrived on Sept. 3rd she was lying on the couch and could hardly lift her head. We were all worried about her. Saturday she seemed better then went down hill that afternoon. This is how it went for about 5 days. She'd seem to feel better, then would need a huge nap sometimes twice a day(healthy Molly doesn't take naps). After she woke up at 9:45am last Wednesday(Sept. 7) morning , and fell back asleep at 10:45am until 2:15pm, I decided this was more than just a little bug. So grateful my Dad was able to help me at the Doctor that day. Poor Molly had blood drawn(they couldn't get any blood out of her veins) and then had to do a finger prick for blood. The did a throat culture, and then after Strep was positive they gave her a shot of Penicillin in her leg. She'd been through the ringer! Dad just held her through everything. :)
It's now Monday Sept. 13th and she's doing great!!! Hopefully all is well with her now. We go back to the Dr. Wednesday so they can make sure her liver and spleen are no longer enlarged.
Anyway, it's just been crazy around here! I hope to get working on posting pics from Mya's Blessing Day and just remembered this morning I never finished posting our August Utah trip.
So watch for new postings soon between laundry loads, cleaning the house, caring for 3 big sisters, and one sweet little baby sister who will turn 3 months this Thursday. 3 months???? WOW!!! Time please pause for a moment!

Can't wait for the the trip to Utah pictures! :)
Oh my, that sounds serious. I know how dangerous an enlarged spleen can be. Glad she is doing better. What a terrific scare. Grateful that your dad and Jen were there to support and help. What a blessing. Take care!
