Happy 11th Birthday McKenzie Pearl

(1 week old) McKenzie was born after 24 long hrs. of labor on August 18th, 1997 at 6:09am. She weighed 7lbs 8.9oz and was 21 inches long. Over the 2 days we were in the hospital she had about 50 people come to meet her between family and friends. Kenzie was the best baby. We loved her so much. Her middle name Pearl was my Grandma's middle name. (photos 8 month old,1st birthday, & age four)

(Kenz with Madi) McKenzie is the best big sister!!! She was so excited when Madilynn was born. My sister in law Ang was at the hospital that night and video taped Kenzie in the waiting room. She asked Ang "Is Madi here yet?" Ang said"Almost" and Kenzie said "Well, Come On"!!! It was so cute. She would just hold Madi and also loved laying beside her. Kenzie is always making sure Madi is OK at school, and I'm grateful for that. She has also been a second mommy to Molly. Kenzie was so excited to meet Molly, and was so proud for her friends to see her new sister. Kenzie has been so helpful with Molly. Kenzie loves her sisters more than anything and is such a good example to them. (Kenz with Molly)









McKenzie is my adventure child. She loves Roller Coasters!! She will ride anything no matter how scary. She loves going to Disney World. Her favorite vacation was the Disney Cruise 2006. She also loves seeing family in Texas and Utah! Kenzie has a great love of reading!! She loves school, and honestly does so well in every subject. She loves getting the top scores in her class. Sometimes her competitive side worries me a little, but I'm glad she always wants to do her best.





Kenzie has become an amazing piano player. When she was five she asked her Grandma Nancy to teach her piano. Thanks to Grandma for the start up, and now here we have a wonderful teacher who says Kenzie will go far with her talent. Kenz especially enjoys playing in the Multi-Piano Concert.




McKenzie you are such a blessing to our family. You amaze me everyday with all you do. You are so good about Choosing the Right, and being the best you can be. You are a wonderful daughter, an amazing older sister, and a great friend. You will do so many great things in life! Have a very Happy Birthday!!! I love you!!!
