It was my nephews Spring Break that week so Ashley took us all down to Monterey & Carmel April 18-19th. The drive down we stopped at the outlet mall in Milpitas and did a little shopping. That outlet has a great H&M!
Kids were so excited to be in Monterey! Molly was so excited to be at the Ocean.
Ashley got us a room at the Beautiful Clement Monterey. It sits on Cannery Row, right on Monterey Bay. Loved it.
It was a little overcast, but nice and warm.
Madi and Kenz, Kody is on the phone with you in this next picture. ;) 
We walked around Cannery Row that evening and decided on Mexican for dinner.
The restaurant was right on the water. We watched otters and seals while we ate.
Such a great place, and the food was delicious!

After dinner we let the kids swim. Ashley had told me how nice the hotel was, but said the pool was really small. No problem. When we walked out and I saw the pool, I laughed so hard. WOW!
Small isn't the word. It looks like and oversized bathtub. HA!! It was too funny! Just had never seen a hotel pool like that before. It sat on a terrace, and really was a lovely setting. The kids loved swimming, and Ashley and I met a nice lady from New Jersey and talked with her while the children enjoyed the pool.Kids chillin in our hotel room...

We ate breakfast the next morning at First Awakenings, before heading to lovely Carmel.
