Jeremy took the first load over around noon- Grandma, Grandpa, Ang, Al, Madi, and Molly. First order of business once they boarded......Aunt Ang made sure Molly got her ICE CREAM!!! The first of a million visits! (KYLE!!!!) :)
While they got settled, Jeremy came back for the rest of us. While loading the van, a car pulled up with a darling gal waving inside. It was Ash, Dave, and kids! So excited to see them!
Dave and Jer dropped the rest of us off at the port. Ash, Kyle, Kody, Riley, Jeff, Ashley, Blakelee, Taylor, Kenzie, Mya, and me. Jer and Dave then took rental cars back, so the rest of us boarded the Eurodam. It looked so funny as all us girls and kids loaded with one guy(Jeff). Sister Wives boarding the boat!!! HA!!!!
Cute Mya all dressed in her sailing attire!
Jeff gave us all a great laugh(as always), as we boarded the boat!
The ships main entry was decorated for Christmas.
After boarding, we went to our rooms.
My Inlaws, Swenson'(Ash & Dave), and our family's room were all in a row on Deck 4. Our Verandahs were opened up so we were able to go in between each others room from the outside. FUN! Loved sitting on the Verandah enjoying the beautiful ocean!
The rooms were very nice.
Cute Christmas wreaths hanging on all cabin doors.
Bunk Bed that our Steward would fold down each night for McKenzie.
Couch also folded out to a bed.
The bathrooms even had bathtubs/shower. First cruise boat we've been on that had a bathtub, most just have showers.
We heard kids running, turned looking down the long hall and Madi and Molly were running toward us. They hadn't seen Kody, Kyle, and Riley yet! So happy to be together!
We ate lunch at Lido Deck 9. The beginning of many yummy meals at Lido!
Mya having fun!
Time for the Lifeboat drill. You no longer have to put on the lifevests for the drill. Sort of sad, as it made for great photo op!
At 5pm it was time to sail away! We were all so excited! We sat out on Deck 9 and watched Ft. Lauderdale fade away into the background. Skies were a little overcast, but we all had a great time watching the land fade away into the distance.
Mya had fallen asleep in her stroller, so she missed all the fun as we sailed away from land.
After sailing away, I think we all went back to our rooms to get ready for dinner.
Our first night at dinner in the Rembrandt Dining Room 8pm. This would be the first night of delicious dining! So good! Our waiters Gio and Rudy were amazing! We loved them!
We were all exhausted after dinner! Next up was our first full day at Sea! Let the cruising fun begin!
Hope to add a few more pics as I get them from the family.
