The day after Christmas

Picture from Christmas Day of girls holding the cute Little People Advent Calendar my mom got them. They loved pulling a piece out each day adding to the Nativity. If you push the star if play Silent Night. So cute!

I never like the day after Christmas. It's just always so sad to me that Christmas is over for another year. My parents and Jen went home on the 26th. Driveway had to be shoveled again before they could leave. Crazy snow we had!

Saying Goodbye
Check out my Dad in this picture. Cracks me up!

Love y'all!

Rest of the day was spent relaxing around the house. I felt exhausted from the week and laid around all day, kids played, and Jer worked in the basement.

Actually we most enjoyed Miss Molly entertaining us

Molly loved playing with Madi's new Barbie House.

This is how we cook in our house! HA!

It started snowing again that afternoon and never stopped. Jer spent more hours outside clearing the driveway. Church was cancelled the 27th because of all the snow.

Monday was spent packing for our trip to Utah. Around 4:00pm Madi was packing her backpack for the plane ride and asked if she could bring a stuffed animal. I told her a small one and came in to get it down from her shelf. She said, "Mom, what is wrong with my ceiling?" Looked up to see this What the heck!!! Jer got in the attic and found snow had blown in through vent on the roof and we had a big pile of snow soaking into Madi's ceiling. Jer was able to remove the snow, and luckily the soaked area dried out. Now we need to figure out how it wont happen again.

We flew to Utah at 6:00am on Dec. 29th. Next post....our time in Utah.
