Joy, Harley, and Bryson came to visit. They arrived around 9:15 Friday night. They kids were all so exicted to be together. They jumped right into playing, and stayed up late watching Chipwreaked.
Saturday- We went to the mall. Of course, we had to hit the American Girl store. Joy took cute pics of the kids.
Who knew Bryson would love it so much? HAHA!!!

We then picked up McKenzie from a Regional Choir Competition and drove to the Kansas City Temple Open House. I was so excited! So nice to now have a Temple within 40 min. driving distance.
That is the Temple President's house right across from the Temple.
It was raining, so they gave those who didn't already have one, cute white umbrellas.
The KC Temple is BEAUTIFUL!!! Every detail is exquisite. Every room is peaceful, and beautiful! The Endowment Room had a Gorgeous mural of the Missouri River Valley painted by the husband of Kenzie's Seminary teacher. So neat! Mya was so cute in the Sealing Room. She was carrying her doll, walked over to the Sealing Alter and planted her little bum right on the kneeling bench. So cute! She didn't want to leave. I don't blame her, it was such a lovely room. The Celestial Room was amazing! So peaceful and stunning. Loved being in there with my family. A very special moment.
I can't wait for the Dedication May 6th. Jeremy and I can have date nights there and Kenzie will get to perform Baptisms with the Youth. So exciting!
They had a lovely reception at the Stake Center across the street after the tour. Kenzie brought her friend Taylor to the Open House. Taylor had never seen a Temple and I think she really enjoyed the tour. She thought is was a beautiful building.

A JOYFUL weekend indeed! So grateful we could all see the Temple together! Thanks Joy for coming to visit!!
Jeremy and McKenzie are working at the Temple Open House today. I will work there on April 27th. What an amazing experience we are all having right now. Once in a Lifetime!!! On May 5th, President Monson will be here for the Cultural Celebration and Dedication! WOW!!! It's just an amazing time here right now!
