Thanksgiving

Due to my Grandma's passing we had my family here in Kansas for Thanksgiving. They were here for 9 wonderful day, dad was here for 11, and we had such a nice, fun time. The first 4 days we were able to spend with extended family for Grandma's funeral. It was great to see all of my cousins, and their children. Our kids played so well together, my girls miss playing with their 2nd cousins already!(photo of 2nd cousins all together at Grandma's viewing) On Wed. we had family pictures taken, and then saw Enchanted. What a cute movie, we all loved it. We looked like the family from Home Alone rushing into the theater hoping we wouldn't be late. Thursday was a wonderful relaxed day at home. Watched the Macy's Parade, a tradition, and we had a wonderful dinner ready at 1:30. Played Uno Attack, and watched Santa Claus 3. Friday, Mom and Jenny were up at 5:00 to be at Michael's at 6:00. Dad and I left at 8:30 to run around real quick, and we were all back by 11:00. Watched movies, played cards, ate yummy leftovers. Good Times!!! My family packed the car up Saturday morning, and headed back to Texas. The house was much quieter and we actually missed hearing Harley running around with her loud little darling voice. I missed having the house busy all the time. We had such a fun time having everyone here. We all took a break for a while, then got to cleaning the house. Saturday night Jer and I enjoyed watching the Kansas/Missouri game. Sunday is never very relaxing spending the morning getting us all ready for church. The best thing was coming back home at 4:00 yesterday and having more Thanksgiving leftovers. You can't beat good old Thanksgiving leftovers. We finished them off last night!!

Today, I'm going to sit with Molly, look at my beautiful Christmas tree, and catch up on TV shows missed last week. It's going to be a great day!!!
